Belinda Yee is an interdisciplinary artist working across drawing, video and installation. Yee uses drawing, an inherently temporal art form, to speculate on the nature and experience of time. In her practice, Yee treats time as a medium of her work, looking for poetry in the way materials and situations perform their inherent temporality. Yee approaches drawing as a means of proprioception, a spatial and temporal extension of self, a process, an exploration, and an active site of inquiry into the way we understand and experience ourselves in time.
